Cancellation and Refunds

Webscalar reserves the right to cancel service(s) at any time. All fees paid in advance of cancellation will be pro-rated and refunded by Webscalar to customer if Webscalar initiates its right of cancellation and customer is NOT in violation of our Terms of Service (ToS). If cancellation is caused by customers and/or its client’s breach of the Terms of Service, then customer agrees that no refund is due. Customer understands that service(s) can be canceled at any time effective the end of the contract.


Due to protection concerns, all account cancellations must be done via our official electronic cancellation form. Notifications of cancellation must be made 30 days prior to successive rebill period. Webscalar reserves the right to deny, forfeit, or refuse refunds at any time if necessary. Third party cancellations are not accepted.


Upon termination, either by Webscalar or Customer, for any reason, Customer is responsible for deleting his/her host registrations from domain registrar(s) immediately. Customer further agrees to pay Webscalar all reasonable administrative costs if Webscalar must intervene in de-registering the hosts.


Terms for 30 Day Money Back Guarantee





  • The Webscalar Money Back Guarantee applies to Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, MyWebsite Builder, Business Email Hosting and Enterprise Email Hosting.
  • Refund applies only to monthly/annual fees paid by the customer.
  • The Webscalar Money Back Guarantee starts on the date the initial order was placed.



Domain Names


Domain name registration and transfer fees are non-refundable


Shipping & Handling Fees


Software shipping and handling fees if any are non-refundable.



Free Services


Free Product Add-ons (including but not limited to Domain Names and SSL Certificates) availed by the customer are non-refundable. In cases where such addons are availed, the retail price of the addon will be deducted from the refund amount.


Important Notes


  • No refund is applicable on any additional or optional services or features added from the Control Panel by the customer.
  • Customers switching from one Webscalar package to another Webscalar package including upgrades and transfer shall be deemed to have exhausted the 30-day period, and are no longer eligible for the Money Back Guarantee.
  • Each customer can only use the Money Back Guarantee once, and for only one account, unless otherwise expressly provided with respect to a specific purchase.
  • The Webscalar 30 Day Money Back Guarantee does not apply to Domain Names, Softwares, Website design/SEO services, VPS (Virtual Private Servers) and Dedicated Servers. All monthly and setup fees for VPS, Dedicated and Managed Server products are nonrefundable.
  • Any customer who has breached or whose account has been suspended or terminated due to the breach of any part of the Webscalar Terms of Service (ToS), Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) has automatically forfeited the right to use the Money Back Guarantee.


Refunds and Reimbursement Terms


  • All Clear Balance pending in the Advance Account maybe reimbursed fully to the Customer, on request of the Customer. Such Request must be sent to Webscalar in the manner prescribed by Webscalar.
  • All bank charges applicable and a reasonable processing fee will be deducted from this amount. All Refunds and Reimbursements will take up to 14 Business Days from the date of receipt of the request, to process.
  • Webscalar will not be responsible for any differences in the reimbursement amount due to Fluctuation in International Currency rates in case of non-INR payments. Webscalar will determine in its sole discretion appropriate conversion rates for currency exchange.
  • Webscalar will not refund any amount that has already been debited to the Customers Advance Account under any circumstances.
