Registration
Do I need to register to order from Webscalar?

Yes, it is necessary to register with us to utilise our services. Registration allows us to keep you informed about your orders and services through email. 

By registering, will I automatically receive marketing emails from you?

We do not send promotional e-mails to our customers. However, we do send a maximum of 2 newsletters every month. These newsletters contain resources and information you can use to improve your experience using our services. If you do not wish to receive our newsletter just click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter.

What do I do if I have forgotten my password or my password does not work?

You can easily reset your password from the Client Area, you can reset it from our client area. Please click here to reset your password.

Orders
How do I place an order?

To place an order, first select the service of your choice on our website, select the billing period applicable from the options available, certain products have additional configurations, you will be prompted for the same if applicable and then provide your personal details to create an account (if not already created) and then proceed to payments option.

How will my services be activated?

Our ordering system is completely automated. Once you place the order, your order is auto provisioned and is yours to use almost instantly.

How will I know if order is placed successfully?

Once your Order is successfully placed, you will receive a confirmation over email from us. This mail will have all the details related to your order along with the payment invoice. Order details can also be viewed at My Account -> My Orders

Do you take orders over phone?

Yes. We do take orders over phone. However the services are activated only after payment confirmation. Please contact us for further details.

I never placed an order but my debit/credit card was charged. What do I do?

It is possible that any of your friends or family members may have used your credit/debit card without your knowledge. However, if you are absolutely sure that nobody has used your card, please write to us immediately at support@webscalar.net with all available details like the transaction type, amount, date of charge etc.

How do I check the status of my order?

Your order status is updated to you via emails. Once your order is placed you would receive an email with your order details. Please check your spam for the status of your order, if you don’t see any updates from our end.

Can I cancel my order?

We have a 30 day money back policy. If you wish to cancel your order, get in touch with our support team as soon as you can with your order number.

If you do not like our service or simply wish to discontinue our service you can write to us within 30 days of the order placement and we will refund the order amount.

The 30 day money back policy is not applicable on domain names, SSL certificates and website design services. Please read our cancellations and refund policy for details.

Can I place a bulk order for an item(s)?

We accept bulk registration and transfer for domain names and SSL certificates. You can place these bulk orders directly from our website.

We also accept bulk orders for web hosting services – kindly contact our support team directly and we can assist you.

How do I do a trial of the service I purchased?

We do offer a trial of our hosting control panel – cPanel and our Enterprise Email services. Additionally, we offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on most of our services. You can try out our services for a full 30 days and cancel it if you are not satisfied.

Can I add an item to my order after I have placed my order?

Unfortunately no, however you can simply place another order. In case of addon services (for applicable plans) of your original order, please contact our support team and we can add the service to your existing order.

Payments & Cancellations
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments via almost all types of credit/debit cards, net banking, phone banking, cash deposits and cheque/demand drafts.

Is it safe to make transactions online using my Debit card or Credit Card?

All Credit Card, Debit Card and Internet banking transactions are processed over a secure encrypted connection. So no worries here!

Are there any hidden charges or set up fees?

There are absolutely no hidden charges or set up fees. We are very clear on our billing and all prices are mentioned upfront on our website.

Do you accept International Cards?

Yes. We are one of the very few web hosting sites in India that doesn’t create geographical boundaries in this industry. We accept international credit/debit cards and also payments through PayPal. We will continue to add more payment options in the near future.

How will I receive my Refund?

We will refund your payment using the same method you used to make the payment for the order.

How long will the refund process take?

Typically all refunds are initiated within 3 working days of the receipt of the refund request. Please note that the time duration would depend on your original mode of payment. The expected timelines are as below:

For Debit Card and Credit Card transfers the time taken for refund depends finally on the bank. Though we would love to expedite the same, our hands are tied. Also, you can assume additional delay for nationalised banks.

I was supposed to receive my refund by now but I haven't. What do I do?

We update our customers through emails at every step of the refund process so please check for the last update from us in your email.

If the last update states that the refund has already been initiated please wait for the refund process to complete. Depending on the mode of refund, the time taken for the refund to reflect in your account can vary. If you haven’t received any update from us please write to us or give us a call.
